Hi, I’m Ali, the owner and baker behind The Juniper Oven.
Baking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping in the kitchen, learning how a few simple ingredients could become something beautiful that brings people together. Born and raised in Bend, Oregon, I’ve always valued the sense of connection and community that comes from sharing food and celebrating life’s moments together. Over the years, those early lessons became a lifelong passion, one that’s always been rooted in care, connection, creativity, and community.
For me, baking is a tangible expression of love. It’s the joy of watching someone take the first bite of something made by my hand or knowing that my dessert helped make a moment a little more special. After a lot of years of thinking about starting a bakery, someone said, “You just have to do it. You just have to put something out there.” So I did, and The Juniper Oven was born.
At The Juniper Oven, my philosophy is simple: beautiful but approachable desserts made with high-quality ingredients that taste as good as they look. While I love creating all kinds of sweet and savory treats, my main focus is cakes, cupcakes, pies, cookies, and scones. Check the store for current options.
